I've been in Florida , Tampa Bay area my whole life and been a amateur Hurricane history buff for over 30 years with the help of website searches and Hurricane history documented back to the mid-1850's , I do believe that Florida residents more then ever need to prepare to the max early , don't be caught off guard or procrastinate . I have been all over the State working during Tropical storms and Hurricanes from early 1970's till the 2000's , Stores and residents for the most part were more prepared earlier back years ago then they are today.
