I survived 2 Atlantic hurricanes on the USS Ticonderoga, CG-47….1st Aegis Class Guided Missile Cruiser. Sailed into eye wall, awesome roller coaster…..then sailed through the eye…..encircled in hurricane walls on a sea as smooth as glass…..then out the other side. Two of many unforgettable memories while serving.
